A cake can look pretty but you want it to taste delicious too. So this is my menu of current cake flavours. If your favourite isn’t listed, please just ask and I will endeavour to cater for your taste. I only use top quality ingredients in my cakes, such as free range eggs, real butter, quality flour and natural flavourings.
I only use natural flavourings and the best ingredients in my cakes like fresh lemon zest, Madagascan vanilla, fresh coffee and delicious homemade syrups. White, milk and dark chocolate ganache is used under a fine quality sugar paste to ensure clean crisp lines and edges.
I do not cater for allergy sufferers and none of my cakes are “free from” as my kitchen is domestic and I handle gluten, nuts and other allergens on a daily basis.
All initial quotes are based on vanilla sponge unless you specify another flavour.
Vanilla – Madagascan vanilla sponge filled with vanilla buttercream and raspberry or strawberry compote
Chocolate – moist chocolate sponge filled with chocolate or vanilla buttercream
Salted Caramel – caramel sponge with salted caramel buttercream and caramel sauce.
Lemon – Lemon sponge flavoured with lots of fresh lemon zest filled with lemon buttercream and zingy lemon curd
Raspberry & lemon – lemon sponge flavoured with fresh raspberries and lemon zest with a choice of vanilla or lemon buttercream with lemon curd or raspberry compote.
Lemon & poppy seed – Lemon & poppy seed sponge filled with lemon buttercream and zingy lemon curd
Lime & coconut – Lime sponge flavoured with lots of fresh lime zest and coconut filled with lime buttercream and lime curd
Coffee & walnut – Coffee sponge with a good handful of chopped walnuts filled with coffee buttercream
Raspberry & white chocolate – using fresh raspberries and filled with white chocolate buttercream and raspberry compote
Lemon & Blueberry – using fresh zest and blueberries and filled with lemon buttercream and blueberry jam

Chocolate “Jaffa cake”orange – chocolate sponge with fresh orange zest filled with chocolate or chocolate orange buttercream and optional orange curd
Irish Cream – real Irish Cream sponge filled with Irish cream buttercream
Black Forest – rich chocolate sponge filled with vanilla buttercream and cherry compote, with or without a drizzle of Kirsch
Cherry Bakewell – Almond sponge filled with a light almond buttercream and cherry compote
Carrot cake – Deliciously spiced carrot cake with the addition of sultanas and or chopped walnuts (limited to 8″ cakes)
Red Velvet – with a delicate crumb and subtle chocolate flavour (limited to 8″ cakes)
